Step 1 - Customer

Access to the domain configuration is needed and technical understanding of the topic.

1. Define Email addresses for both values "subdomain", “from” & “replyTo”.

Example:

Subdomain: timify.example.com
From: info@timify.example.com
ReplyTo: no-reply@timify.example.com

2. Setup a subdomain for the emails that will be sent by TIMIFY later.
You need to set up a new subdomain (not used for other purposes & not the main domain!). For example, a subdomain like this: timify.example.com In the end, we need the emails (“from” & ”replyTo”) and the subdomain.

TIMIFY sets up the internal configuration (Mail provider) within our email provider Sendgrid:

1. Set up Sender Authentication -> Reverse DNS ( connect customer IP with the main domain ):

2. TIMIFY provides DNS records (also point 3.) information to the customer

Step 3 - Customer

2. Inform TIMIFY that the task is finished

Step 4 - TIMIFY
