Q. What's a skill?
Simply put, a skill is an automation, optimisation, or data insight. Some of my skills do all three!

Let's use the Customer Celebration skill as an example: here, l put my automation and optimisation talents to use. I will email your customers a celebratory message on their birthday or other date-based celebration: this is the automation element.
As I save you time and money by writing and sending emails, it's also an optimisation skill.
And if you include a discount offer (feature not available in Branch Manager) in the email that the customer ends up using, this offers additional optimisation, as it generates new revenue for you.
Q. What's a Skill Set?
For a skill to take effect, you need to create a "Skill Set". That means you give the skill a name, assign when it should be triggered, and tell me any additional conditions I should apply and the actions I should take.
The trigger for the Customer Celebration skill could be the customer birthday date. I will continually monitor the date, and when it arrives, I'll take the corresponding action: to send the email to the customer. The conditions allow you to specify which bookings or customers l should target. I do this by monitoring the customer and/or booking tags that you assign to a skill set."

Q. How can I track my expenses and revenues?
The Expenses & Outcomes tab will help you keep track of the monthly costs and incomes from your skills. You can use the filters at the top of the page to see these statistics for a specific Skill Set, Skill, and month.
Q. What are Outcomes?
Outcomes are the variables I measure to show you how well a skillset is performing. I can share the time and costs saved, revenue generated, the satisfaction index of your customers, and even your return on investment.
The outcomes measure the success of the skill set in various categories:
Customer Satisfaction
Time Savings
Cost Savings
New Revenue
Saved Revenue
ℹ️ Note: The Customer Satisfaction index is calculated by adding up the points (which you set for each skill) for each successful execution of a skill. For example, if you think that the Early Time Slot Skill is very important for your customers and has a huge impact on their satisfaction, you can assign it 10 points, and if 100 customers get an earlier time slot, then the satisfaction index from this skill for the month will be 1000.
Q. How much does a skill cost?
I don't charge by skill. I charge for each action in a skill set - and even then, l only charge for the actions that I complete. That means you'll only pay when I deliver a result. The action price is displayed under the skill title and varies depending on the skill complexity.
An action might involve sending an email to notify a customer about something, or setting a tag for a customer or booking. Actions can also be more complex, such as scheduling or rescheduling a booking.
Q. Can l create multiple skill sets for the same skill?
Yes! You can create unlimited skill sets. I suggest you give each skill set an easily identifiable name, so you don't get confused between them if you create multiple skills.
Q. I have a fixed budget. Can I limit my spending on a skill?
Yes, you can set a spending cap. This is great if you have a fixed budget that you want to stick to. Adding a cap takes immediate effect, and you can change the amount anytime. Simply click on Apps in the navigation, then click on the grey settings button for the Assistant App, and select "view subscription". You can manage your spending cap from the subscription window.

Q. Which plan do I need to have to use the TIMIFY Assistant?
Each Skill requires a different plan:

Early Slot Waitlist - Premium
Customer Celebration - Enterprise
Q. Can l edit a skill once I save it?
Yes, right-click on the three dots next to a skill set's name and select Edit.

Q. How can I keep track of all the actions executed by the skills?
The Activity log tab displays a list of the actions generated by the Skill Sets. You can also filter the results to easily find what you want.

Q. Can l delete a skillset?
No. If you're sure you don't want to use a skill set again, you can archive it. I'll never be able to run the skill set again, but you will be able to view the outcomes of the skill set.
Q. Can l temporarily pause a skill?

You can reconfigure, pause, and archive skillsets. These options can come in handy: it could be that you want to reconfigure a skillset once it's been running a while, to experiment with some conditions in order to improve the skillset outcomes. Or to pause a skill set during quiet times, when you don't really need me to help out.
